We have been seeing Lisa for about 6 months now. What a God send! Lisa is AMAZING and has continued to help us through a very difficult period in our lives. She offers ongoing support and guidance with her expertise and knowledge that we value so deeply. Not only has she assisted with this rough patch, but now she has become an asset to us in our weekly routines, and in moving forward. The staff is so nice, we generally work with Krys. She is very accommodating and friendly. The offices are so clean and comfortable. Communication with the office staff and Lisa, along with setting appointments, are a breeze! They are so understanding of our complicated schedule and always willing to find what works best for us even at the last minute! I couldn't have asked for more. Since participating in EMDR therapy with Dr. Neeley I’ve been able to notice an on-going shift. I’m experiencing more clarity, aware of parts of myself previously unknown and an acceptance of myself and my ability to grow! I highly recommend EMDR and Coastal Wellness.

Dr. Neely is by far the most amazing and thorough therapist I have ever had to work with. Not only is her background perfect for working with military members, but with men of trauma as well. I worked with her for 5 months and the firm and directional structure she provided, worked beyond belief. Her focus on EMDR sessions was absolutely key to helping me get exactly where I needed to be. After years of living in survival mode, and looking through trauma lenses only, I finally had a mental collapse. But I am now on a new path of wellness and healing. I cannot express enough how grateful I am that I got the opportunity to work with her on this mental health journey. She is a true pioneer of men's mental health. Thank You, again.

I knew something was wrong from a very young age. I was broken and tried unsuccessfully to ‘fix it,’ but couldn’t. I began secretly attending therapy in my early 30s….talk therapy, Rorschach test, house-tree-person, group therapy, classes, mind exercises, clapping my hands and watching videos. My triggers? Smells, tone of voice, facial expression, songs, room noise….nothing changed. In 2021 someone mentioned EMDR and how it had changed their life. I studied EMDR and other therapies for about one year before trying therapy….yet again? I studied and made detailed notes on businesses and personnel who used EMDR. Neeley’s notes filled a page. Neeley Hughey up in Melbourne? It turned out to be the best 1 1/2 hour drive. Neeley’s background, skill level and passion to help others is incredible. The office decor is calming and inviting. Neeley is qualified and actually trains other therapists in EMDR. Neeley helped me rewrite my story. The chains and shadows are no more. My initial contact with the office was Evelyn, Neeley’s business office manager. She is so warm and caring. Evelyn taught me to use the ‘pause button.’ I am forever grateful! How do you repay someone for restoring what the locust had destroyed? I am now living and loving life. You will not find a better source for healing. Neeley is the best in her field. Take the risk. What have you got to lose? The chains holding you back? Begin to rewrite your story.

I had my first experience with vibroacoustic therapy yesterday and it was amazing! I left there feeling more calm and relaxed than I have in a very long time. Had some kind of emotional release about halfway through the session and just started crying. After that, the calm followed…and it was awesome! Already made an appointment for next week and hope to be able to incorporate VAT into my life regularly at some point. Highly recommend giving VAT a try!

Ariel is really awesome. Non judgemental safe space. Release internal thoughts and only occasionally hear what you need to hear back. Therapy is really helpful. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. They do have a sliding scale option. But I do love the ability to talk to someone that can listen intently and has really great follow up responses that don't demand things but just put in the wisdom or question and answer you were looking for all along

Thursday I had my first experience with the vibroacoustic bed, and y’all, I feel it’s a game changer. Stress, anxiety, and chronic pain are my battles, and sleeping through the night is a goal I can’t seem to hit. With this week being project heavy at work, my anxiety and pressure to succeed was at an all time high when I arrived to my appointment. After my session, I felt weightless and momentarily pain free. I was in a zen state for sure, and I slept. through. the. night. It was the only night this week that I didn’t wake up to use the bathroom or because I heard the animals playing- my mind, eyes, and body were at rest until my alarm went off. Thank you so much Coastal Wellness! Looking forward to more sessions of true rest and healing in the VAT bed!!!
