How we work together.
Angela Bryan is a licensed mental health therapist, licensed professional counselor, and certified executive coach with more than 30 years of experience in coaching, counseling, and teaching trauma-informed care in the United States and internationally. She supports adults, children, teens, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life changes.
Down-to-earth, warm, and collaborative, Angela helps clients feel seen and understood while working toward practical, meaningful change. She has extensive experience with complex trauma and attachment challenges, including work with adoptive families, international orphanages, survivors of human trafficking, veterans, first responders, and professionals in leadership roles across many industries. Born and raised in Germany, she has lived in multiple countries and brings a deep understanding of cultural differences and belonging to her work. She also supports clients who have felt excluded or struggled to belong, including LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, and people from minority communities. Additionally, she helps clients work through religious trauma and questions of faith, welcoming faith into therapy or leaving it outside the process according to each client’s preferences.
Angela tailors therapy to each person’s needs, drawing on EMDR, IFS, DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, narrative therapy, and OCD-focused approaches, including ERP and inference-based CBT. She incorporates art, sandtray, play, and somatic approaches to support expression, connection, and emotional regulation. Her work is strength-based and trauma-informed, with respect for each client’s pace, values, and goals.
As a certified executive coach, Angela uses positive psychology and CDR assessments to help professionals deepen self-awareness, navigate stress, and strengthen their leadership. She helps leaders build psychological safety, communicate clearly, and develop effective, accountable teams.
