Evan Rojas

Evan is a licensed mental health counselor. Evan was born and raised in South Florida. Evan has 9 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a human services setting. He earned his Master of Health Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Catawba College, and is a National Certified Counselor, NCC. Evan has experience working with adolescents and adults in the criminal justice system, Veterans, and clients with dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental health.

Mr. Rojas uses a Strength-based person-centered approach implementing techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness techniques and EMDR to help his clients be centered in the present moment and strive to get better every day. Evan helps clients through personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family/relational dynamics, and other life transitions. He is passionate in helping people build and create the tools in order to handle the stressors life throws at us.
