At Coastal Wellness and Life Coaching Center, we want to take a moment to recognize that September is Suicide Prevention Month. This is an important time to come together, raise awareness, and remind ourselves of the power we each have to support those who may be struggling.
We know that suicide is a deeply painful topic, but it's one we must talk about with compassion, empathy, and openness. Every life is precious, and we want everyone to know that there is help, there is hope, and there is always someone ready to listen.
Understanding the Pain Behind the Silence
When someone is hurting so deeply that they consider suicide, they often feel alone and overwhelmed. The truth is that many people around them care deeply - they just might not know how to show it or may not be aware of the struggle. At Coastal Wellness, we believe that by talking openly and being there for each other, we can create a world where no one feels like they have to face their darkest moments alone.

If you notice any of these signs, know that your presence and care could make a world of difference. Sometimes, just reaching out and asking, "How are you really doing?" can open the door to a life-saving conversation.
How You Can Help
It’s okay to feel unsure about what to say or do, but remember - being there for someone doesn’t mean you need to have all the answers. Simply being present and showing that you care can be the greatest gift you can offer. Here are some ways to help:
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988, visit the Lifeline online at https://988lifeline.org or go to your nearest emergency room.
